Specter Apps Inc ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Droptreel public website and application (together, the "Service").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
We process personal data to provide, secure, and improve the Service as described below. This Privacy Policy is a notice about that processing; it is not a request to consent to every use of personal data. Where consent is the applicable legal basis, we request it separately. Unless otherwise defined here, capitalized terms have the meanings given in our Terms and Conditions.
Definitions
- Service means the Droptreel public website and application operated by Specter Apps Inc.
- Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).
- Usage Data is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
- Cookies are small files stored on your device (computer or mobile device).
- Data Controller means the natural or legal person who (either alone or jointly or in common with other persons) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal information are, or are to be, processed. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, we are a Data Controller of your Personal Data.
- Data Processor (or Service Provider) means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Data Controller. We may use the services of various Service Providers in order to process your data more effectively.
- Data Subject is any living individual who is using our Service and is the subject of Personal Data.
Information Collection and Use
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.
Personal Data
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
- Email address
- First name and last name
- Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City
- Cookies and Usage Data
We may use your Personal Data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or the instructions provided in any email we send.
Usage Data
We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
The Service may use cookies that are strictly necessary for security, authentication, and requested functionality. The public website stores your versioned cookie and privacy choices in browser local storage under droptreel-cookie-consent.
The browser SDK synchronously begins with optional Google consent purposes disabled. It then applies an explicit saved choice or requests country and region information from a stateless Cloudflare endpoint and applies the regional mode configured in the SDK. The endpoint does not return your IP address, stores no consent state, and its result is cached separately in browser local storage for up to 24 hours. Locations requiring prior consent and unknown locations remain disabled until you choose; other locations may start applicable analytics or advertising technologies by default. Automatic defaults are not recorded as user consent. Personalized advertising is controlled separately and requires Advertising measurement. Each provider and storage mechanism enabled through a published container must be disclosed in this policy and the Cookie Policy before activation.
When you arrive through a tagged marketing link, Droptreel automatically processes an allowlisted set of campaign parameters and provider click identifiers through its first-party API. Before Analytics is enabled, the API sets no visitor cookie, reads no provider cookie, and returns only a short-lived handoff context that the browser keeps in memory. After Analytics is enabled, we may use an encrypted random visitor identifier to connect campaign spending with later registration, connected-store, and revenue outcomes. This first-party capture does not itself load an advertising network, and the records are not sold. Direct traffic without a supported marketing signal does not create an attribution record.
See our Cookie Policy and use Cookie settings in the site footer to review or change your choices.
